The question is not whether your company will lose the data
If not, when will it happen?
MITS Informática offers you different solutions to make encrypted backup copies so that, in case of device loss, theft, fire or breakage, you can access your information with total security that no other person can access your private information.
The most valuable and safest way is to make encrypted backup copies in an external location of your offices or home, thus avoiding theft, fire, flooding,…
Automatic Backups
Your data is constantly updated and will automatically be backed up whenever you change or modify the files! Our system is completely automatic – so you don’t have to spend personal time changing or updating your data manually.
100% Secure and Encrypted
All your data is compressed and encrypted using the same system as many governments and banks.
High data copy speed
Thanks to the “in-house” data transfer technology that is capable of backing up large volumes of data in a very short period of time.
Supports ALL common databases
Many of our competitors require the purchase of separate modules for each database. We provide you with all the modules, including Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Lotus Domino / Notes, etc.
Compliance with the LOPD
The main reason to make an external copy of our data is to ensure the continuity of the company in case of loss of the same.
However, THERE IS A LEGAL OBLIGATION TO DO SO. According to articles 94 and 102 of the organic law on data protection (LOPD), Royal Decree 1720/2007 establishes the criteria that affect SECURITY COPIES and, among others, dictates both the existence of a minimum of TWO COPIES as well as their location in different facilities.
Affordable and cost-free
THERE ARE NO STARTUP COSTS.
THERE ARE NO LICENSING COSTS.
THERE ARE NO COSTS for specialized agents to access files that are open or that are currently being used. All these features are included as standard in our online backup service.
Backup Strategy 3-2-1-1-0
- Protect Your Data Smartly -
In an increasingly digital world, protecting our data has become an essential priority. Backups are fundamental to ensuring that our important files, projects, and documents are safe from any kind of loss. A solid backup strategy can be the difference between a small scare and a catastrophic loss of information.
The 3-2-1-1-0 strategy is an evolution of the well-known 3-2-1 strategy and has been designed to address current needs and challenges, including the growing threat of ransomware and other types of malware. This strategy ensures proper and reliable protection of data by following five basic rules:
- 3 Copies of the Data
You should always have at least three copies of your data. This includes the original file and two additional copies. This way, if something happens to the main copy, you still have two other versions available. This dramatically reduces the risk of loss since the likelihood of all copies failing at the same time is extremely low. - 2 Different Storage Media
You should store your data on two different types of storage media. For example, you could have a copy on an external hard drive and another in cloud storage. Using different types of media reduces vulnerability to hardware failures, as different devices have different failure rates. - 1 Off-Site Copy
One of the backups must be stored off-site, which means it must be physically in a different location. This is crucial in the event of local disasters, such as fires or theft. By keeping a copy in another location, you ensure that your data will be available even if something happens at your primary work or home location. - 1 Offline Copy (Air Gap)
At least one copy must be offline or stored in an “air gap” environment, meaning completely disconnected from any network. This measure protects your data against ransomware attacks and other threats that affect systems connected to the network. External hard drives or magnetic tapes that are only connected when performing the backup are good options for keeping an offline copy. - 0 Errors in Backup Verification
It is essential to perform periodic verifications of your backups to ensure that the data is recoverable and error-free. A backup that cannot be restored is useless, so you should always make sure that your copies are intact and complete. Automating the verification of the backups can help you ensure that they are always in good condition.
